Today
a man was changed forever from a horrifying tragedy.
Can anyone discern his anguish?
Can anyone feel his pain?
Can anyone see his tears?
An exceptional
man lost himself this day; he waned with the fading of the
sun as it slipped behind a heavy dark cloud.
Oh the gripping pain within his being; unable to find relief
from the piercing dagger impelled in his soul.
Looking
up; there are thousands of eyes staring at him; he sees the
terror in each face amongst the crowd.
In the clutches of horrifying agony; this dark day has etched
its deep scars of guilt within his being, how can he ever
emerge from this deep black hole?
Today a
man was changed forever from a horrifying tragedy.
Can anyone discern his anguish?
Can anyone feel his pain?
Can anyone see his tears?
Weak from
the unbearable anguish, salt from his tears a burning flame
to his wounds so fresh.
Oh dear God, release this precious man from this chamber of
torture where he is being held against his will.
He is unable
to erase the Hades visions within his mind, an inferno of
his burning flesh.
Sea of red no longer blue; harsh winds destroy the shore,
he covers his ears in hopes of escaping the sound of someone’s
penetrating shrill.
Today a
man was changed forever from a horrifying tragedy.
Can anyone discern his anguish?
Can anyone feel his pain?
Can anyone see his tears?
It was
an accident, no fault of his, there was nothing he could do
to prevent this terrible tragedy, sitting down; he hangs his
head in sorrow, knowing he is not to blame.
God reached down with His protecting arms wrapping him in
a golden cloak of divine love, a shield protecting him from
the aberration in his mind.
Angels
wipe the tears from his cheeks, staying close by his side
helping to ease the unmerciful pain.
In a moment, just like that he was changed, a loving man refined
in tragedy, finding love and strength in God and from his
angels; comfort he will always find.
Today a
man was changed forever from a horrifying tragedy.
Can anyone discern his anguish?
Can anyone feel his pain?
Can anyone see his tears?
